According to the micro blog of the general office of the General Administration of customs, on March 9, Shekou customs, affiliated to Shenzhen customs, reported that the two batches of imported recycled plastic pellets found in the customs inspection were 19.95 tons of solid waste prohibited from import in China. At present, the case is handled by the customs disposal department.

In December last year, two logistics companies in Shenzhen imported a batch of pet recycled pellets weighing about 10.8 tons and a batch of PA6 recycled pellets weighing 21.7 tons from overseas. During on-site inspection of Shekou customs, it was found that the two batches of goods had complex colors and a large number of irregular pellets; some light green pellets and even the naked eye could see black dots and strips of impurities, and there were many adherent pellets with peculiar smell. The customs officer shall take samples for inspection.

According to the identification of Shekou Industrial Products Testing Center, 10.8 tons of goods declared as "pet recycled pellets" are polyethylene terephthalate recycled pellets, which are thermoplastic leftovers, defective products and unqualified products produced in the process of plastic production and processing; the goods declared as "PA6 recycled pellets" are polyamide (PA) recycled pellets, of which 9.15 tons are in the process of plastic production or use Generated scraps, defective products, unqualified products, etc. The above 19.95 tons of solid waste belong to the solid waste prohibited from import in China.
