As part of a commitment to tackle marine plastic pollution, home cleaning brand SC Johnson has launched a new series of Mr muscle platinum window glass cleaners packaged in 100% recycled marine plastic bottles. At present, the series has been listed in the UK and Ireland, and it is the first time for Johnson to use 100% marine recycled plastic bottles in the UK market.

Set up 509 garbage collection points in Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand and other countries
The new product is part of a global partnership between Johnson and plastic bank to reduce pollution from marine waste plastics. At present, Johnson and plastic bank have opened 509 garbage collection points in Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam and Brazil. The plastic bank plans to collect 15000 metric tons of waste plastic a year to prevent it from entering the marine environment.

The new Mr. Muscle platinum marine plastic bottle packaged window and glass cleaning product line has been sold on Amazon. Com and will be extended to more stores in the coming months.
Johnson said the partnership with plastic bank was only one way for the brand to fulfill its commitment to help solve the plastic pollution crisis. Brands have been increasing the use of post consumer recycled plastics in their products and avoiding excessive plastic packaging as much as possible.
Johnson's goal is to triple the amount of post consumer recycled plastics in packaging by 2025, including those from Mr. Muscle and several other product lines.
