PepsiCo's made juice all natural juice brand has replaced the UK juice series with a new 100% recycled plastic bottle.
With this packaging change, made juice claims to be the only juice brand in the retail beverage sector that uses 100% recycled plastic bottles.
The new beverage bottle is also affixed with a brand-new and stylish label. The label states that Naked is 100% recyclable plastic. The brand calls on consumers to help reduce plastic waste and ensure that the bottle is placed in a recycling bin after drinking.
The launch of the new plastic bottle responds to Pepsi’s sustainable development strategy. Pepsi’s goal is to reduce the original plastic content of its beverage product portfolio by 35% by 2025.
Charlotte Ashburner, senior marketing manager at PepsiCo, said: “We know that consumers are working hard to contribute to the environment by supporting brands that are committed to solving the environmental problems they care about. And our new bottle means that juice consumers can use more A sustainable way to enjoy delicious juices."
The new 100% recycled bottle juice is currently available in all Naked juice retail supermarkets in the UK, including Tesco, Sainsburys, Asda, Morrison and Ocado.
