Superfos, a subsidiary of Berry Global, recently launched a new SuperLight ultra-light ready-to-eat food round lunch box, which was proven by Italian ready-to-eat food company MakeGusto to be an ideal packaging.
Composed of independent plastic layer and cardboard layer for easy recycling
SuperLight uses a combination of a separate plastic layer and a cardboard layer to provide a user-friendly and convenient food experience.
The independent inner layer of the package is made of high-temperature resistant plastic, while the independent outer layer of the cup uses a cardboard layer. Using the cardboard layer allows users to easily take the lunch box without worrying about the high temperature inside the lunch box.
After use, it is easy to separate the cardboard from the plastic layer to facilitate recycling.
Francesco Loconte, Product Development Manager of Antaar&S, who specializes in research on ready-to-eat food, explained: “We hope to bring the traditional flavors of Italy to countries outside of Europe, so that consumers can enjoy our rice and pasta more conveniently. The SuperLight lunch box from Superfos It helps us achieve this very well."
"SuperLight lunch boxes can be processed quickly and smoothly on our filling line. This is also an advantage at the end of the production line. We can inspect each product through X-ray and metal detectors. Because the ultra-light packaging only uses plastic and paper , And does not contain aluminum, so quality control is very easy to implement."
MakeGusto instant food series includes 5 categories, each of which is packaged and sold in 400ml SuperLight lunch boxes. There is no cover on the package, just a layer of plastic film to protect the food inside.
Antaar&S is optimistic about the future prospects of the MakeGusto series of products. Market signs show that this packaging can cater to the needs of consumers in South America, the United States and some Eastern markets.
